By downloading or using cursorrobin, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the app or the site.
cursorrobin is a try-before-you-buy app: you can use the full app for a trial period, after which a paid license is required to keep its full feature set (see Trial and licensing below). We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on the Macs you own or control, for personal or business use, subject to these terms and to the limits of your trial or license. You may not resell or redistribute the app, share or circumvent license keys, remove or alter its notices, or reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble it except to the limited extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction. All intellectual property in cursorrobin remains ours.
You can use the full app free of charge for an initial trial period of 10 days. After the trial, a paid license is required to continue using the app, and it will prompt you to buy and activate one. You can buy and activate a license at any time, during or after the trial. We may change the length of the trial and the price of a license; any such change applies going forward only and not to a license you have already bought.
Licenses are sold through our third-party payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and handles checkout, payment, invoicing, and any applicable taxes; your purchase is also subject to that provider’s terms. A license is granted to you for the Macs you own or control — please don’t share license keys. Where you buy as a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights, including any applicable right of withdrawal, remain unaffected.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the app — or any part of it, including updates and this website — at any time. Where you hold a paid license we will not do so unreasonably, and your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
You agree not to use cursorrobin unlawfully, to infringe anyone’s rights, or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair the app or the systems it runs on. You are responsible for the files you handle with it and for keeping your own backups.
The app may check for and install updates so you receive fixes and improvements. Updates are governed by these same terms.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. You use it at your own risk and are responsible for your data and backups. If you have bought a license as a consumer, your mandatory statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of cursorrobin. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, or under mandatory product liability or consumer-protection law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, and then only for the foreseeable, typical damage.
cursorrobin runs on macOS. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple, and your use of macOS remains subject to Apple’s own terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app or the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
